I don't know how anyone thinks this is good. I remember trying them over 12 years ago when I was actively looking for bands close to Dissection's sound and trying all the bands mentioned in the liner notes, albums that shared producers, all the other bands on No Fashion, etc. Must have listened to each album 2-4 times. All trash and any attempts to revisit them imploded quickly.
Strange, with your tastes. One would conclude it should be a perfect match. Particularly the odd albums are all superb i.m.o. The talent these guys have really shines through in the music I think. The even albums are considerably less interesting. But then, sometimes it just doesn't click. I have the same issue with Dawn, I own their albums, tried them all several times through the years, there are some OK moments, but overal, after 1 or 2 songs I want to put something else on.
I repent inmensely for never had checked them out when last fm reccommended them to me... I misjudged by the awful pics. But today I found them by casuality on youtube and it blew my mind off... wish I had checked them earlier :( This is very close to what old İmmortal used to sound like.
Tusen Ar Har Gatt? Really? Is it that hard to actually copy the title from Metal Archives if you can't remember the alt code (alt+134) for å? It's "Tusen år har gått", NOT "Tusen Ar Har Gatt" nor even "Tusen År Har Gått".
