ive had a lot of favorite bands during my whole life, ando some are super great and each has changed my life in particular ways, but there hasn't been one like Green Day. i like to remember the period between 2016 - 2019 when i was severely obsessed with them and all id do was listening to them and watching their videos, documentaries, interviews, you name it. they brought me the warmth of a home. Green Day really saved a troubled and suicidal teen, and i'm 100% sure that i wasn't the only one. i dont listen to them as i used to do, but they will always be my band.

Warning is probably my favorite track from them, 21 Guns is close second but something about Warning makes it such a fun but cautionary tale interesting also the guitar loop drives me crazy with it's catchy and simplicity.

21st Century Breakdown changed my life

There will be an 8-LP-Boxset for the anniversary of American Idiot. Lots of B-sides, with the first batch they released Favorite Son on streaming which was up until then a track exclusive to the Rock Against Bush compilation but from the exact same era. Looking forward to it, grew up on the album.
