I hope they remaster this someday, because good fucking lord the production is terrible. The vocals are too sharp-sounding but boxy and flattened like crazy, the cymbals sound like somebody ran them through the worst digital compression on Earth then plopped them back in the mix with no adjustment. The guitar tone isn't bad, a little dull, but muddied and buried. Pretty much the only thing that sounds ok is the keyboards and bass guitar. I mean the songs are pretty much across the board excellent, but it's almost literally painful to listen to.

I prefer Sagas, but this one is pretty spectacular too. [2] I like both albums, but I don't think Rekreatur is as good as Sagas and Turis [2]

Ich mag Sagas und Turis Fatyr gleich, manchmal auf das eine lust manchmal auf das andere, Kinder warum immer streiten was besser ist... Wir sind hier nicht im Kindergarten!

Bei weitem das beste album von ihnen, DAS is purer epos. Sagas war musikalisch auch top aber hatte nicht mehr viel charme. Rekreatur mmmh naja lasses wir das mal.

Just finished my first listen to this and I am blown away just as I was by 'Sagas' a couple of years ago. I really wasn't expecting their first album to be so incredible. I absolutely love Sagas and this one seems amazing too. Consequent listens will ascertain just how amazing but I'm certain it will just get better.
