Canadian act DIRECTION started out in 1998, when Marco Paradis (guitars) started talking with childhood friend François Potvin (drums, percussion), an excellent drummer with a master's degree in percussion, about recording music together. They agree to record a CD, and when the compositions have been worked out, they get in touch with Robin Gaudreault (bass) who agrees to join the project.
