In summer 2002 Erik and Roman founded CONVERGENCE. Without any direct concept about the music style, Erik took the vocal-, bass-, keyboard- and programming-part. Roman who played in the band ZORN did the guitar and the bass. After about six months of work, the first demo "The first approaching" was recorded at Lugermusic Studio. At this time their style took its first form. In April 2003 Bjoern joined CONVERGENCE as 2nd guitarist.
