This cooperation between bassist Charlie Haden and saxophonist Michael Brecker, with Brad Mehldau on keys and Brian Blade drumming is meaning another unbelievable beautiful album. Sometimes it is a very simple, kind of "sentimental" beautifulness, like some other great records in jazz e.g. So What by MD. I just don't know how they do it. Like if it were very sophisticated, intelligent, difficult and simple in one time. Maybe this sounds like stupidness, and yes: because one just can't get the key to this mystery.
