At The Skylines

Love the band since 2009, but the funny thing is that their first EP, the self-released self-titled EP from 2009 is their best work. Fresh, alot of nice guitarwork, never boring, with nice breakdowns and very good heavy parts!

Amazing how good their EP was, then the album came. Would expected more. Oh well, I guess the funfact is that signing to a major label doesn't automatically make the songs sound good :p If someone believed that. Love this band for their EP though, which kicked major butt.

cody-fm: I'm not a scene kid, and I ate this up. Your statement is false, ignorant person. First you said "worst vocals" then you changed your mind to "singing is alright". Doesn't take much to change your mind I guess.

Sure? Aside from breakdowns and synths, the instrumentals are pretty decent, there's definitely some variety in their guitar players' influences.

It's about time someone decided against Joey Sturgis/Cameron Mizell for their production. Fredrik Nordström's work feels so refreshing for this kinda music, more metallic guitar tones. And how is the singing bad? Sounds better than all the super smoothed out high pitched clean vocals in every other electronic/post-hardcore band right now.

might be? In my opinion and from my perspective I knew their debut would be more than decent the first time I heard their self-released EP. It was something different about it. A fresh breath for sure :)
