Angúnguak (ANGU) Motzfeldt was born in Qaqortoq, Greenland in 1976. He moved to Nuuk in 1996 where he was soon drafted as a guitarist into the band Century Schoolbook. Their album, with all songs written in English, was the first of its kind to be produced in Greenland. Aside from his involvement with the band, Angu also wrote songs for other artists and collaborated on several projects and films.
