Diverging from Zayn’s series of slow-burning, R&B jams, “No Candle No Light” introduces a more electronic-inspired sound for the British singer featuring rapper Nicki Minaj, who is no stranger to the electronic genre. Rumours about the single first surfaced in early 2017 when fans claimed that ZAYN played the track at a listening party. ZAYN then confirmed that it exists in a September 2017 interview with Scott Mills on BBC Radio 1. On November 13th, 2018 ZAYN posted a snippet of the long awaited collab on his Instagram story teasing the release on November 15th.
