evermore isn't just an album, it’s a lifestyle, a reason to breathe, an escape from this cruel world filled with thieves. It’s art, the first gift you open on Xmas, a hug from a loved one, everything you’ve ever wanted, everything you need.
well...it's also a masterpiece, a work of art worthy of the Louvre i would say. It redefined the concept of beauty and set a standard on what an album should sound like for it to be deemed worthy of appreciation. also it's an artistic reconstitution, the breeze you respire, its a motive for existence, a departure from this atrocious cosmos, an embosom from a cherished one, its a moment for history books, a body of finest craftsmanship.
"reputation" is my favorite album of hers. i would say "folklore" and "rep" are her at her best. "evermore" is a really close second. my full ranking at the moment would be:
rep = folklore> evermore > 1989 > red (this one is like a fan favorite) > lover > speak now > fearless > self-titled
you can start listening to her chronogically if you want to. or you can do it in my order.
What can you write? Creatively she is at her top and it's quite fascinating how she could do this in only one year. What's also great is that both albums sound fully invested in the music and lyrics without any fail. She also lets the music speak for itself, in this quite suprising way, which is such a delight to witness as a fan from her. Keep it up, Taylor. You definitely come back stronger than a 90’s trend. ;)
