I've wanted to shave my head since I first got to know Sinéad and her songs, on Feb/2022. Almost couldn't believe it when I heard of her passing. It feels like I'm realizing it only now, with a year of delay. Suddenly I felt the urge to go deep into her discography and found myself loving songs I didn't like before. I also just finished reading her memoir... She's really the definition of freedom to me. I admire her so much that I finally decided to cut my hair the shortest length ever and not care about what others might think (didn't even care if I'd look ugly). Sinéad gives me the courage to be truly fearless. She'll always be remembered in my heart... And in my haircut, for I don't think of letting my hair grow ever again!

Для меня был такой шок ,когда она умерла. Я просто вспомнил о потере сына ,зашёл в википедию к ней ,чтоб освежить память и вижу ,что она умерла 26 июля 2023 года, для меня это был шок , всегда думал ,что несмотря ни на что , она сильный человек. Так жаль её, столько всего пережила ,столько боли, я даже не догадывался ,что она мертва ,а узнал я об этом относительно недавно , может летом этого года ,может ещё раньше.

muslim women do not have to cover their heads, even if they shave their heads. it's their choice if they want to wear one or not.

Sinead: I've told you this before whenever I've sent out vibes out into the universe, although Im Sure you are oblivious to it, but just in case some of your energy lingers out here in your last.fm page... I gotta know that you know that you changed my life for the better... that some days I spent less depressed because I got distracted by listening to your songs... that if it werent for Jump in the River, Feel so Different, Mandinka, I am Stretched on Your Grave, Emperor's, The Wolf is Getting Married, and a long list of others, my life would have turned out worse than it has, and im not complaining. Literally one day I was going to kill myself, and I didnt, because I had bought I do not what i want what i havent got on vinyl, after YEARS of trying to find it, and I did not want to die before i listened to that vinyl, and when album was over I forgot about taking the 100 klonopin I had stashed, and thanks to you, I made it to the next day. I love you. thanks for keeping me alive.
