from the album Apocalypso
It goes: "soldiers on the waterfront, they want to ship me far away"
Band after band have come from down under during the last years, seducing our ears and making our feet try some dance steps. Of this amazing wave of aussie electro stars, The Presets stand out with one hell of an album (Apocalypso) and probably the most meaningful song in the history of electro pop.
Refering to the extremely tough migration policiy of Australia, where aliens would be locked up in detention camps almost automatically after entering the country; the band tells us about an impossible love story scored to the sound of an anxious synth and a killer beat that takes your average political song to another (dance) level.
