• Top Ten Fav. Artists

    Dez 6 2006, 7h23 por PanheadWarrior

I don't know if you're supposed to take your top 10 artists on your last.fm account, but I don't care, I'll try to rank it more from how much I've listened to each artist in my lifetime. It's more fun that way.

    1. Bleach
    2. Skillet
    3. P.O.D.
    4. Pillar
    5. MxPx
    6. Blindside
    7. Underoath
    8. Spoken
    9. The Wedding
    10. Thousand Foot Krutch

    1. What was the first song you ever heard by 6?

    When The Sun Sleeps

    2. What is your favourite album of 2?

it's so hard to pick... but if i must...

i have to say that 2 more should be noted as honorable mentions though: Invincible & Comatose.

    3. What is your favorite lyric number 5 has sung?

I have 2 favorites. One for each century. That's okay right? Here's my favorite from the 20th century:

"I don't want to let my life fly by
Did you ever stop to wonder why
And time stands still when no one understands you
When you don't quite understand yourself
But just know this that God is faithful
Even if you don't have faith yourself
  • Original Version of Southtown by P.O.D.

    Fev 4 2006, 6h51 por Nordburgh

I remember first hearing Southtown on the internet. I then heard a couple of other tunes from P.O.D. like Rock the Party and then a different version of Southtown. I didn't think anything of it until I purchased The Fundamental Elements of Southtown and the newer version was on it. I was so po'd. I didn't realize there was an EP called The Warriors that they released first.

Let me tell you that EP cost quite a penny when I tracked it down on Half.com where I got it used. Looks like it's still available from sellers on Half.com also. I think I paid $25 for it at the time many years ago. It's a shame they re-did Southtown because the original was just so much better. Not polished, refined, just raw with a solid kick to the groin like the rest of the EP. It's a shame it has been forgotten.
