They are both great albums. For me songs like "20 Dollar" and "Bird Flu" are as good as "Paper Planes," but I would imagine "Paper Planes" is what initially does attract most listeners. Nonetheless, she is an artist whose albums have been consistently excellent and even the ones that were divisive at the time of release seem to be growing in esteem with passing time as people realize they were significantly ahead of the pack (talking especially about MAYA here).

I really like this album, but I have come to the conclusion that in terms of all her albums to date, it's my least favourite. It seems to be the most loved, and I do have love for it myself, but Arular and yes, Maya, top it for me. Maybe that will change over time. Top notch stuff though. For a while I was quite addicted to World Town. Paper Planes has a certain charm to it. Jimmy is probably my least favourite, it doesn't seem to fit on the album as much as the other songs. It's not a bad track, though. [[[[2]]]]] Completely agree. Arular & Maya are her strongest albums (my opinion).

Some aspects of this album remind of the energy and verve of Bow Wow Wow. Love the mix of asian flavour and hiphop. Found the album in me local Oxfam for £2 :)
