Life Theory is a music project idealized and created by Portuguese composer, producer, songwriter and aspiring full-time musician "Igor Fonseca" also known as "Igor F.". He was born in 1997 and had this Life Theory project idea when he was only 13 years old in 2010. His idea from the beginning, was to create music as a way to express himself and to create the music that he wanted to make only, without the need to please the mainstream audience. His first single was also made when he was 13 years old and it was Insomnia an ambient song. Later, the instrumental song was followed by Void another instrumental, this one too featuring a dark ambient sound and they became singles from the EP Lost in the Dark. The following years, between 2011 and 2015, he was on a hiatus. His next project was another EP named Vertigo that includes the singles Phoenix where he recorded vocals too, and Sayonara made in the first quarter of 2018. In august, 2018 he joined Routenote, an independent distributor/label. A single Zero was released on january 30, 2019 and it features a more unsettling/creepier dark ambient than its predecessors. The official debut album Alone was released on march 15, 2019. The album features 20 dark ambient instrumental songs that are described by Igor F. as "sad, enigmatic and super creepy". The whole process of the album was made by himself alone, and it features personal themes in it.
