Jun 13 2013, 0h09 por adhisatyanugraWhen I was Senior Highschool, I spent my time covering all of this band and stayed at my room for a couple hours with my roommates (An Ibanez GIO that I called "Nightcrawler"). Though I couldn't play perfectly, Metalcore and Melodic Death are the music I really into when I was wearing white grey uniform. So this is the list :
Trivium - Ascendancy
Killswitch Engage - The End of Heartache
Avenged Sevenfold - City of Evil
Bullet for My Valentine - Poison
In Flames - Whoracle
Lamb of God - Ashes Of The Wake
Arch Enemy - Rise of the Tyrant
All That Remains - Fall Of Ideals
Unearth - III : In The Eyes Of Fire
As I Lay Dying - Shadows Are Security

Fev 14 2012, 5h50 por maplejetA month has passed since my last entry. Still working on the similar artists formula, but the program I'm running to test the formula has slowed down, so I'm gonna make some changes to the code and re-look at the formula. That will be discussed later. But let me discuss what is on my mind.
SUPER BOWL DEJA VU
Yeah, last week, was the Super Bowl...and another halftime guest that basically combined the flaws from the last 2 Super Bowls together (outdated The Who and the top 40-friendly Black Eyed Peas). It was Madonna, but to be honest, it wasn't really a disaster like last year. Not bad, but we need to start getting Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, Muse and other 90s-2000s rock bands now.
But the main think I want to vent about were...the commercials. Usually the best part of the Super Bowl...this year, they all came out flat. Sad TBH. The beer commercials are usually the funniest ads...none of them were funny. And some ad campaigns just need to stop...godaddy, Etrade, you get the point.

The first new music coverage of 2012 from me (the best of the past month or two, anyway). So new stuff, and a dusting of the old, too.

Track of the Month:
The star track from the stellar new album, a glorious, glittering ballad in the same realms as Fear. Yes, that good, and it has a chorus to match. A yearning, pretty song that like all of this bands greatest tracks, takes it’s own sweet time to unfold, before delivering that killer chorus – and there is barely a vocoder in sight. Those remarkable live shows over the past year have clearly had a considerable impact on the band’s sound, too – while the theme is similar, there is perhaps a bit more of a human touch to the sound, and this is one of a few songs on this album that clearly has been created for live performance at some point. …
