Intimate Stranger is an Anglo-Chilean indie rock band formed by Tessie Stranger (vocals/elec. guitar), Lau Stranger (elec. guitar), Filip Crisis (bass) and Andress Ugarte (drums). Influenced by elements of post-punk, they create a sound that is characterized by the vocal's melodic lines and the atmosferic guitars, mixing drum solos, samplers and synth. In Tom Robinson's TV show (BBC 6), they were described as "texturized, loud, calm and ethereal at the same time, with harmonious vocals - a style that is very balanced and hard to achieve."
