Maybe the only rapper at his level to have zero haters like it seems everyone likes Zel or at least respects his style. Been listening since 2014 so it is awesome to see how he's met and exceeded his potential!!

I know I'm in the minority here, but I've harbored this sentiment for like 6 years now... Denzel Curry is overrated. Falls back on the same cadence and filler bars all too often. He really cannot escape himself and it makes his role in his own "experimental" endeavors feel awkward. Reminds me of Logic in that way. Cool guy with a decent catalog but he's not the artiste people would like to think he is. Maybe I'm missing something

i feel that. if i'm being honest i can see how someone may not like him and think that some of his hardcore trap is shit. i dont really listen to any other artists with a similar sound to him (excluding melt my eyes, his sound is usually a sound I avoid). his personality attracts me to his music a lot, with his authentic creativity and self awareness. my older brother introduced me to denzel when i started high school and ive just graduated this year. denzel has stuck with me the whole time, definitely an artist that has sentimental value to me.

honestly, historically, some of my favs of his are trap... loved sumo & clout cobain back in the day, ult too ofc... Ricky and Carolmart are great to this day. MMEYF was definitely a solid effort but I remember being disappointed when UNLOCKED dropped. maybe a revisit is in store soon... the new song w Lazerdim was sweet too so maybe King of the Mischievous South will change my mind
