COLOSSO is an Experimental Death Metal project started by Max Tomé in Januray 2011 at Oporto, Portugal. The initial goal was to write an open-minded/”no-boundaries” Death Metal album (latter named Abrasive Peace). From then on, everything kind of developed on it’s own. In late March 2011 Dirk Verbeuren (Soilwork, Aborted, Scarve, Bent Sea) joined Colosso to be in charge of drums for the recording.
