His 2003 self-titled album is divine. Easily one of my favorite albums of all time. It's what first got me into electronic-rock 11 years ago. Everyone here should also check out Julien-K! Their first album Death to Analog is my 2nd fav electronic-rock album!
Yeah nothing can beat his self-titled album, all-time classic! Klayton is definitely going in a different direction with projects like Offworld and Scandroid. It would be nice to get another Celldweller album with that gritty industrial rock sound.
But at least we still have Circle of Dust! Machines of our Disgrace is great and contains some of his heaviest material! So he hasn't fully abandoned his more metal side!
I kinda wish Klayton would focus on quality over quantity. It feels like his talents are spread too far over too many projects nowadays, seems kinda overworked and it shows in his recent music. Hell, I loved End of an Empire, but even that was rather poorly mastered.
