Carnegie began on an acoustic guitar. Lead singer, Mitch Hull, played coffee shop gigs around the Tulsa area all throughout high school, covering Dave Matthews and Damien Rice. In 2008, Mitch entered college and through dorm arrangements, high school friends, and guitar ensembles, Mitch formed a band under the clever name of "The Mitch Hull Band". Two years, two battle of the bands victories, and one EP later, Carnegie has established a local following in Tulsa, Oklahoma and a mature, progressive sound.
