Mioko Yamaguchi (山口美央子), born March 22, 1959, is a Japanese singer-songwriter. She had a brief singing career between 1980 and 1985 during which she released three studio albums and one best-of. Her fans referred to her as “synth utahime” due to how her vocals blended with the synthpoppy sound. From mid-80's on, she withdrew to the background to compose songs for other singers including Miki Imai, Masayuki Suzuki, and Yuki Saito.
