The 6th Summer Breeze Festival will take place at Warren Farm, Liddington, near Swindon, on the 14th - 15th July 2012. Over the two days 50 quality acts will play across 3 stages including, The Musgraves, The Destroyers, Marcus Bonfanti, Wille and the Bandits, Gaz Brookfield, Ed Tudor Pole, Jake Morley, 360, Films of Colour, The 1930’s, The Running Club, The Blue Trees, The Paul Childs Band, Lazy Maybees, The Penny Red, Tom Staniford, Peoples String Foundation, Backbeat Soundsystem and Uncle Frank. The line up is filled with amazing quality music acts from all over the UK, more acts will be announced over the next few months.
Family fun will be provided in our dedicated children’s area, including a new big fun art and craft tent where activities are offered at no cost on the day - all equipment is free to use and the kids get to take home everything they've made. There will be puppet shows, junk building, pizza workshops, the silly hat stand, juggling ball making, ribbon skirts making and wearing, didgeridoo workshops, circus acts, silly games and even the creation of a giant mural. Plenty to keep the kids amused, including the big kids!
Enjoy not just quality music, but a variety of fine foods and a real ale bar (we ensure these are reasonably priced). Take a stroll around our vintage market, quirky festival traders and chill out in our tranquil healing garden. The vintage tent will be holding tea parties, fashion shows, make-up and hair styling workshops, not-so-risqué burlesque lessons and a strictly adults only late night burlesque performance!
Set in the rolling countryside of Wiltshire, the independently run Summer Breeze Festival is a family-friendly event, intimate and inclusive for audience and musician alike, tickets are strictly limited to 2,000 - a big step up from its humble beginnings of 150 people in 2006 - but still with an intimate feel. Profits from this festival are donated to Charity. Our chosen charities this year are ‘The Prospect Hospice’ and ‘Water Aid’.
