Coldplay is set to rock New Zealand with the announcement of an Auckland show in November.
The British rock band, one of the world's best-selling music groups, will play at Mt Smart Stadium on November 10.
The Mylo Xyloto tour downunder also includes three shows in Australia.
Lead singer Chris Martin said the group could not wait to get back to New Zealand, where they last played in 2009.
''It's such a special place for us,'' he said.
''The New Zealand crowds are always incredible and we'll be bringing everything we've got. It's going to be big.''
Coldplay shot to fame after the 2002 release of their album A Rush Of Blood To The Head. Their fifth studio album Mylo Xyloto was released in October to mixed reviews. It was nonetheless the UK's best-selling rock album of 2011.
Supporting Coldplay will be Australian indie-rock group The Temper Trap and Alabama sister-act The Pierces.
Advance tickets will be on sale from midday Thursday via www.visaentertainment.co.nz or from Ticketmaster from May 25.
