Soulwax, headed by David and Stephen Dewaele, are from Ghent, Belgium. They’ve been releasing records since 1996, the most recent LP 'Nite Versions' in 2005. The two are however perhaps best known for their influential shows and releases as 2manydjs. Initially finding fame with their genre mashing mixes, most notably on the landmark record As Heard on Radio Soulwax Pt. 2 , 2manydjs have gone on to produce a lengthy series of “bootleg” recordings. They’ve also created official and unofficial remixes of some of the world’s most respected artists, including the likes of Gorillaz, The Klaxons, Kylie Minogue, Daft Punk, LCD Soundsystem and many more.
Their 2manydjs "live" tour was undoubtedly one of the highlights of the summer festival season. On these giant production dates they will not only DJ, but giant LED backdrop screens will present visuals too, based primarily on the artwork of the records they're playing. Soulwaxmas will see them reprise this huge DJ show, and following it up with their critically acclaimed live band show, showcasing alternative versions of their best known tracks, including 'NY Excuse', 'Krack' and 'Too Many Djs'.
