Being a kid in '98 with a football-loving Pops meant "La Cour des Grands (Do You Mind If I Play)" was on repeat throughout the summer. Seared into my hippocampus so whenever I hear his voice I'm immediately transported back to the innocence of that time, where it seemed like everything was basked in a hue of golden light.
