Formed in Rotherham in 1981 centred around keyboardist Andy Beaumont, the group started out as Spiral Visions and released an EP Dance Macabre under the name in 1982, before dropping the Spiral and simply becoming known as Vision. They are best known for the dance anthem Lucifer's Friend which became a cult classic in clubs across Europe, reaching #1 in Italy.
