UPIR was founded in january 2011 by Legion (Morkr) and Skogen (Skogen, Semper Fidelis, Ciemnosci). UPIR plays Diabolical Black Metal in the style of old scene from the '90. At the beginning of 2011 the band had a proposition to unleash a split-tape with another polish band, but due incompetence of the publisher, this release never came to an end.
