Shortstop was born and raised on the streets of South Central Los Angeles to Monica Saunders and Lorenzo Green. His upbringing was no fairytale but was indeed interesting. His major influences were his mother, his great-grandparents and his uncle Big Draws. Shortstop learned at an early age that life wasn’t a given, and that he had to “go get” it and he did just that. Shortstop who was a promising and outstanding athlete in both football and especially basketball played for two well known schools Crenshaw and Washington High School and worked hard to advance to greatness.
