Zip Sound head honcho Morning High returns to the label with a four track offering, showcasing the current shift in modern Dubstep sounds. This EP oscillates between Dub-Wise stylings and deep psychedelic bass bliss. The opening track 'Murda Sound' hinges on the former, utilizing a pastiche of melodica and delayed leads & vocals with a driving 140 backbone. 'Dystopium' gets us up to date on the modern state of paranoid, grime inspired dubstep with off kilter kicks and big bass-lines. 'Moumantai' is certainly the deepest cut of the EP, where the producer takes an updated approach to the haunted vocal laden dubstep he has become known for. Finishing up the EP is 'Lost Transmission' a succinct and appropriately titled stroll through deep bass space and lost transmissions from the Dub Satellite itself.
