Celebrating our 10th issue this summer and according to the survey we’ve done last year, we’ve put massive force into considering your wishes as well as your recommendations and suggestions. We have thoroughly spent lots of time to realize an attendance of SLAYER and THE WAILERS (together on stage of course… SkaCore or ThrashReggae, very interesting indeed!), but we did not want to increase our prices, though … By the way, evaluating the poll (see news) we’re proud to present the following bands in 2008: Czech progressive hc gods THE.SWITCH, grindcore heroes of MORTAL AGONY (Bayreuth, Germany), progressive modern / extreme metalists of DEYZI DOXS (Lusatia), SCAVENGE (death metal, Dresden). Furthermore, some (definitely not crappy!) reunions are on their way – VENENA (old school kvlt thrash metal, Pirna, Germany) will apply the very more intoxication of blood and CARPE NOCTUM (Zittau, Germany) will return to reinvent the deathly steel!
As usual, NUKSTOCK is going (and looking forward) to welcome a couple of artists for the first time – here we go: in the vein of WALTARI and PRIMUS Slovak superstars CHIKI LIKI TU-A w i l l convince you how to be one of the best live performers on the planet – you better believe and, subsequently, move (or conversely inverse, hargh hargh hargh…)!
One of the most important bands and co-founders of the Sorbian underground scene is the very skilled, experienced and well known AWFUL NOISE. Travelling Europe for years, they’ll return to the area where it all begun and kick some ass with their progressive Crossover which is a unique melange of Post – Grunge and NuMetal vibes combined with some death / thrash and folk tunes.
And hey! It’s an anniversary! So there is more to come, surprisingly. But let’s keep us some secrets to our and your pleasure…
