Rock am Ring ist ein Musikfestival auf dem Nürburgring in der Nähe des Ortes Adenau in der Eifel. Es wurde erstmalig im Jahr 1985 veranstaltet. Die Veranstaltung war ursprünglich als ein einmaliges Event geplant. Aufgrund des großen Erfolges (75.000 Zuschauer) entschloss man sich allerdings, diese Veranstaltung jedes Jahr stattfinden zu lassen. (wikipedia.de)
