melancholy machines started in 2019. they play a twinkly, jangly style of indie and emo with always passionate, somewhat lonely lyrics. they also experiment with avant-garde vocal effects, spoken word components, and lo-fi/noisy production. the atmosphere of their music provides a very bedroom feel whilst maintaining a semi-professional and controlled edge.
