Biography
Int21 was a collaborative geek project very prolific over the course of 2004. The band members exchanged samples and recordings via FTP and composed the songs directly into mp3 format. All lyrics were randomly generated using a Google hack, and each song is sung in a different language. The band was pioneer on the use of matricial printers, and created the Oroborizator, a strange sound texture device.
The band started out as CA4 and MY7 recording weird experiments to cope with their over caffeinated spirits. That resulted in the legendary dark-ambient EP "suicide eq nothing". Soon, NA6 and UN4 joined the band, making a more dance-oriented sound. With the late addition of singer R0B, the band signed with DuskTillDawn (Venin Noir, Avec Tristesse) and released "the 8 bits of devil". The album was very successful and "Begod Astra" became a club hit.
By the end of 2004 the band released 11 virtual singles and EPs, and the 21 most relevant tracks was collected in the album "Ancient Tulku Ages" aka "ATA2004". The band promoted this release with a Siberian tour, and them announced the end of activities. R0B now sings with Enger and the other members decided to focus on their geek careers. In 2008, celebrating 1337 days of the end of the band, lml records released a collection of b-sides and rarities called BSODs.
