I've known at least 5 or so songs per album since his debut on the scene but only as of recently have i listened to his albums chronologically and started to appreciate who he was musically. It hurts me a lot knowing how much i underappreciated him while he was here with us and that i'll never be able to be a part of an X album rollout, but most of all, he never got a chance to fully be at peace with himself and right his wrongs. But i'm confident his legacy is going to live on because his music has substance and ability to connect with its listener, and X put a good deal of hard work, talent and emotion into his craft to touch the souls of those listening. He gave us a glimpse into perfection within imperfection. Plus its rare to find someone with his level of versatility, dead or alive. Prayers up for you brother, I know you're alive, God's not finished 🤍🕊.
