Thanks to all that have said kind words about my music. I make the music for others to enjoy and hopefully take away a better understanding of ecocentric thought and exposure to important authors writing about ecological issues.
About the drums.... yes, for now I am using a drum program. I am actively looking for a drummer for the next release but after a very long search for a drummer I decided to make the music as I could. I do what I can with what i have.
I think most of the successes from Cascadia Rising are retained, although I noticed a fair degree of repetition in his guitar rhythms, probably rehashed from "A Fierce Green Fire Dying In Her Eyes ." But it still blows most other Cascadian black metal bands away.
AVE Wild's Reprisal - Ethics of Respect for Nature --- This song is dedicated to Paul W. Taylor. The lyrical content from this song is a reading from Taylor's essay "The Ethics of Respect for Nature". In this essay Taylor presents the foundational structure for a life-centered theory of environmental ethics. The structure consists of three interrelated components. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_QTdiCDhpT4
Cool - I recognise the drum machine (EZDrummer, either DrumkitFromHell or Metalheads) so the "magic" of knowing how it was put together is somewhat ruined. Nobody's fault, though (unless they had been merged a bit more naturally with the guitar sounds).
