    First things first: let me set something straight about last year’s list. Radiohead’s In Rainbows was, although very good, not the best album of 2007. I’ve overlooked a masterpiece that only this year has opened its brilliance to me. The NationalBoxer retroactively wins Best Album of 2007. Even more; it’s the best I’ve heard since Damien Rice’s O (2003). I can’t begin to explain how these twelve songs outshine in utter genius and since I’m 12 months late on it, I won’t. But this had to said.

    Alright, over to this year’s list.
