What?Noise (sometimes spelled as What? Noise) were sound engineers working at Strawberry and Yellow Two Studios in Stockport, United Kingdom, in the late 1980s. They were also experienced record producers working with many local indie groups.

They played various instruments from stylaphone, guitars and whirly sound hose to programming drums and sequencers using C Lab software (now Logic Pro) on Atari computers, producing finished masters for record companies.

Playing a U.K support tour with Fishbone during 1989 and touring Universities tour with label mates Finitribe in 1990 when promoting their new album 'Fat'. They also performed concerts in Manchester with local groups including Dubsex and Flatback Four.

What?Noise releases: 4-track 'Vein EP', released on Cut Deep Records in 1989 and was available on 12" vinyl only. Re-issued on Invisible Girl Records on September 14, 2006.
