Wardruna

I love them, but I think they're getting a bit repetitive with their compositions. There was a fresh and inspiring evolution of style between all Runaljod albums, but starting from Kvitravn the music started to melt into one.

Wardruna is for me one of those artists that one day you just realize how they make your life better. Like, literally, no exaggerations. My qualify of life increases considerably with Wardruna songs through my days.

Agree with Danielos, Kvitravn was nice to listen but I can't name a single song that stayed in my head. Birna seems a bit better after a first listen. I fell in love with Ljos til Jord.

last band I saw live before covid got me ME/CFS and stopped my ability to go to concerts indefinitely lol. good concert farewell, and he even finished up with one of my favorites: Voluspá ♥

"Tretale" has pleasant Yggdrasil vibes. I think I was missing this melodic, "dirty" shamanic singing.

I love Birna so much already. And the album cover is absolutely stunning!

One of my favourite bands. I personally like Skald the most, as it hits some nerves directly. I like the sound the most, it really sounds like a bard singing next to a campfire.

I didn't believe in gods until I found Einar Selvik and Lindy-Fay Hella. That's all I'm gonna say about "Kvitravn", because I'm positively speechless once again. What a time to be alive to witness such outstanding and pure artists.

Their latest album, "Kvitravn" is just what I was expecting; mesmerizing, spiritual, ethnic and touching. I'm in love with Nordic culture...

Still waiting for a bad record, can't imagine what it would sound like.

The new album of 'Wardruna' is very sick. But I do miss 'Lyfjaberg' on the record.
