Amazing to think how 10 years ago, Thrash was pretty trendy in the underground. I'm glad Warbringer are still putting out records. Seems most of the gimmick Thrash bands have died off. Warbringer, Evile, Municipal Waste, Toxic Holocaust, and Vektor stand out for me.
New album is awesome, even on first listen. First 4 tracks are flat out Thrashing tracks. Get a Bathory vibe from "When The Guns Fell Silent". Another cracking album. Fair play to Kevill for keeping it going.
O álbum ficou foda, mas infelizmente achei inferior comparado aos dois anteriores, em que eles estavam caminhando para um Thrash com uma pegada meio melódica, ao estilo do Kreator. Mas mesmo assim é um ótimo álbum.
Love Warbringer. However, only recently have I really appreciated and got into Empires Collapse. Great progression each record, for sure. Would love them to get their Demo Hammer kind of vibe back though.

I have to say I am pretty impressed with their new effort. When I first saw the cover art it really turned me away for some reason, seemed really out of place so I avoided it for awhile, then I heard Hunter-Seeker and played that song quite a few times and enjoyed it quite a bit (still do!) then I heard the album had leaked and I searched YouTube for a few tracks and it seemed decent but I never bought it or anything until a few days ago and it just arrived and I just had one first full listen thru and it is a damn good album on my first impression, sure some songs are stronger than others on the outset but I really believe this one is an album that will grow on you with time and I am glad I made the purchase. Standout tracks would be Hunter-Seeker, One Dimension, Scars Remain, Dying Light and Towers of the Serpent but as I said they are all really solid.
"The new album is really great, I definitely don't understand some of it hate it's receiving. " Same here, after one listen i cant figure out where all the hate is coming from, yea they took their foot off the pedal just a little bit, but still managed to release a solid album, which is more than can be said for a lot of other bands who slow down on one of their outings.
