    it was the first single? damn! musta missed it.. i remember seeing the music video for "scrawny" where they were in a boxing ring. that's the first song i heard before nothing happens came out!

Is this type of music still relevant? It sounds like it could’ve just as easily been made in 2005 as 2019. I find it hard to believe indie rock has progressed so little in the last 15 years that this is still “cool”. They have a few good songs though.

This album is fucking great. I discovered them and only later found out the leader singer is the guy from 13 Reasons Why. I’m not sure if that makes me like them less, because I have so many negative biases with actors being in bands. But these guys are fucking good. These guys would have been fucking huge if this came out in 2010. This album feels like it fits perfectly into that era of indie rock.
