The Best Summer Album in the World…Ever! is a double-CD compilation album released by Virgin Records in the UK on June 23, 1997.

Made up of 44 tracks in total, each disc contains 22 songs. The first disc mainly consists of the biggest summer hits of the day from contemporary artists like the Spice Girls, Rosie Gaines, Eternal, and Gina G. The second disc, on the other hand, includes a selection of older hits from the 60s, 70s, and 80s, like Bill Withers' "Lovely Day" and "Love Shack" by The B-52's. However, it does also include a couple of notable current hits, like R. Kelly's "I Believe I Can Fly" and Los Del Rio's "Macarena".
