Unni Elisabeth Wilhelmsen is one of the most acclaimed singer-songwriters in Norway. She debuted in 1996 with To Whom It May Concern, which won her two Norwegian grammys - best album and best female artist - and featured her biggest hit to date, Won't Go Near You Again. Since then she has released six albums, with Definitely Me (1997) was her biggest seller at over 40,000 units and featured the #1 radio hit, Anything 'bout June. If you like artists like Shawn Colvin and Joni Mitchell, she's worth checking out.
Her album nr six, Til Meg, was released in October 2006 on her own label (st. Cecilia Music) and was her first to be sung in Norwegian. Her latest album '7' (2010) has received great reviews in Norway, Germany and Canada. Unni Wilhelmsen has a personal touch to everything she does, and she manages her web sites herself, keeping in contact with her listeners through information, pictures, happenings and her guest book. Unni Wilhelmsen is a live musician playing concerts constantly.
