In early 1927, Uncle Dave Macon formed the Fruit Jar Drinkers, consisting of Uncle Dave Macon, Sam McGee, Kirk McGee and Mazy Todd. The Fruit Jar Drinkers recorded for the first time on May 7, 1927.
