Danny confirmed that new album should be out in mid April this year (you can find video on youtube). So i believe we are finally really close to new music from these guys. Probably around that time they will put whole cataloge on streaming services.
Here's what Maynard says: "Update- Midway through mixing. Most likely be a few recalls. Then some arguing. Then Mastering, Artwork, Video, Special Packaging, etc. Best Ballpark Guess- Release date somewhere between Mid May and Mid July. "
buy the CDs and rip to AAC/MP3/whatever. load on your ipod/iphone/android device. sync/scrobble at the end of day through whatever music manager you use on your laptop.
the CDs are the best backup you're likely to find and, sadly, there aren't that many to purchase. rip to lossless if your portable player can deal with it.
I already have an entire Tool collection, I'm an avid Vinyl and cd collector. What I've meant was I listen to music almost all the time driving around. And I don't like ripping song files off of cd's etc. I love everything smooth and organized. Don't want my smartphone turning into a mess , spotify is basically the only app I constantly use on my phone.
Is their anyone who has ripped tool music from original cds and has kept in cloud or somewhere i can have access to download.
Tool only cds available in amazon India are undertow and aenima at an absurd price ₹2699 ≈ us $35. Tool are available on torrent as well but im not satisfied with those rips. Share me your link on shoutbox or in my mail firstname.lastname@example.org
When i listen tool only one word comes in my head "WOW".
Wish tool had big catalogue like iron maiden.
Does anyone know any other progressive metal band like tool and not like dream theater, Queensrÿche, symphony X with keyboards. I know opeth, porcupine tree.
SO psyched to hear the new album! Hopefully the rumors of Tool capitulating to the streaming sites is true as well, so I don’t have to rip my damned CDs after all these years of procrastination and being computer-less.
