Tommi Parko is one of the names in Finnish avantgarde music of the 70s which has to a large extent been left only to accompany the more well-known ones such as M.A Numminen. However, his role is not insignificant in that he was a member of the controversial Sähkökvartetti and recorded a piece of his own entitled "Hysteriablues", accompanying his own vocal hysterics on piano.
He is not to be confused with the poet Tommi Parkko.
