Huh? Album released in november already? That's not true? I haven't seen it be reviewed, it's not on Spotify and I can't buy it in the store. I guess that's not the officiel release date :P But interesting! I am looking forward!
Still cannot believe Mr McRae isn't a famous, globally-recognised artist. He has such an amazing catalogue of strong material. Songs like Walking 2 Hawaii are up there with the greats for me. When I was first introduced to him a decade ago, I was amazed that I hadn't heard of him sooner. Tom McRae: 215,978 listeners, James Blunt: 1,665,008 listeners... no justice in the world.
So the only album I have of his is "King of Cards," which is awesome but seems to be one of the lesser albums in terms of listeners on Last.fm. I guess that means I have more to look forward to? Are the self-titled album and "Just Like Blood" that much better, or just more popular?
I'm loving Summer of John Wayne, but it's very sad. Also loving Won't Lie, American Spirit and Out of the Walls. Still to be convinced by Told My Troubles to the River. Overall, an album I'll play as much as a King of Cards or Tom McRae - i.e., a lot.
I've begin to listen at Tom McRae again, since its autumn, the first time I heard you, was on 2005, when it was cold outside, the track "Ghost of Shark" was on a norwegian movie, called UNO :) I look forward to take a tour in Norway.
