The Videomatics are a five-piece ambient rock outfit from Brisbane, Australia. Originally formed after a chance meeting in Scotland between songwriter Joseph Johns and keyboard player George K, The Videomatics began creating music together based on a mutual love of haunting guitar melodies, vintage synthesizers and early Cure records. The pair recorded in Glasgow (drumming on the tracks is Hector MacInnes, brother of Scottish electronic star Mylo).
