Biography

The Spiffs were a pioneering powerpop/powerpunk guitar band from Phoenix who achieved their greatest popularity in the early 1980s. In 1980 they released a highly-prized five song 7" EP from Scottsdale, Arizona, "Don't Waste Your Money On This Garbage".

Arizona music legend Glenn De Jongh later went on to play in bands like The Einsteins, The Urge, Box Of Cherries and many others, as well as playing guitar for Bob Welch and other nationally-known touring acts.

The Spiffs were:
Glenn De Jongh (Later Glen Crimson) - Vocals, Guitar, Bass
Bill Webb - Vocals, Guitar, Bass
Walt Boone - Vocals, Drums
