People see no worth in you, but I do.
I dreamt about you last night and I fell out of bed twice
wow this is powerful
I dreamt about you last night... ♥
Shove me on the patio
So beautiful nice song <3
' do get bored
People see no worth in you, but I do...
The chorus to this gives me chills.
i dreamt about you last night and I fell out of bed twice, you can pin and mount me like a butterfly but "take me to the haven of your bed" was something that you never said...
i dreamt about you last night
a morbid lullaby
I love this :3
you can pin me and mount me like a butterfly
What an opener. This is such a beautiful song. Morrissey vocals are just top notch on this track.
makes me feel way too many emotions.
this Band ! pure love !
15 minutes with you, I wouldn't say no. People said you were easily led and they were half right.
Oh, people see no worth in you, oh, but I do.
This song has a very comforting feel to it.
Oh, people see no worth in you, oh, but I do.
"You're the bee's knees/But so am I"
Truly unpleasant song. Then again, I've only ever enjoyed "How Soon Is Now?" by the Smiths. I think life with Morrissey must be very tedious indeed.
Woke up to this as my "earworm" this morning - maybe it is the "i dreamt about you last night and I fell out of bed twice" line...
yeah, that "I dreamt about you last night/and I fell out of bed twice." is pure brilliance
Yes the lines starting with "I dreamt about you last night..." are painfully beautiful and probably some of my favourite lines by Morrissey of all time - very poetic.
My favorite Smiths' track, ever.
people said that you were virtually dead, and they were so wrong.
"You can pin and mount me--like a butterfly." I very much like this line.
@matt_white Been having fun on songmeanings.com?
My favorite Smiths track and quite possibly the best album opener of all time.
I was around when this album came out and the confected controversy passed me by. If you've got a mucky mind etc.
fifteen minutes with you, well i wouldn't say no....
I would have loved to have been around when this album came out. The song is brilliant.
that piano is gorgeous
So melancholic and perfect.
Just checking to see if this song stills sounds creepy. Yep.
0:00 - 0:08 oh hai joy division
Flawless, absolutely flawless.
"You're the bee's knees but so am I..."
so fucking awesome
this is probably my favourite song of all time. nothing ever gets as emotional as this. can't believe this is the opening track of their debut album (2)
One of the best opening lines of any album, ever. (2)
